Holy Suzanne Alecia of OVAB!

Not sure how I missed this one, but just dug it up in my Itunes library, then found it on YouTube! I had the good fortune of meeting Suzanne Alecia, the President of The Out-of-Home Video Advertising Bureau, at a presentation she gave to my last company in 2008, and she sure was a smarty! Here an interview segment that AdAge did with her last year. If you are in Digital Out-of-Home; especially on the Ad side, you should probably watch this.
Hi Suzanne! Also, sorry for how the freeze frame shows up! Talk to AdAge about that one.

Hi Christian -
I’ll forgive you and Ad Age for the freeze frame above, just this one. Cheers to you on starting this blog, I look forward to reading more. OVAB has accomplished a lot since that interview above was done, so keep checking in with us to see what’s new. I’m in Vegas right now for DSE and am speaking on a panel tomorrow that should be very interesting. Also, you should know that the news of other media trade associations cancelling their events (MPA, OAAA, to name a couple) is not true for OVAB. We’re having an event on March 25 with thinkLA at the Beveryl Hills Hotel, we’re hosting a 1/2 day panel discussion in New York on May 19th and are in the midst of planning our second annual media summit for October. Keep the posts coming!

Suzanne! Thanks for the comment! Now I finally feel “legit”!
Everything good?
Yeah, like I said, talk to the AdAge peeps about that. I know you are going out to DSE and rightfully so. In terms of keeping up with OVAB; no worries there at all. Many industry people are keeping up with OVAB / your activities. Hope that doesn’t assert more pressure on you.. You made huge leaps since we met last time when you presented OVAB’s purpose last year at the … I’m keeping my last company name in the down low for now, but you know who I worked for.
And definitely since the AdAge interview. Anyway, look forward to your continuous work on making the industry an undeniable medium, and your leadership. Say hi to Ryan for me as well!
